Altamonte Springs, FL (March 16, 2016) – CCMC, the leading provider of financial technology integration solutions, today announced the company has completed Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) 16 SOC 2 Type 1 examination focusing on Security on November 16, 2015. The examination was completed by Schellman & Company, LLC.
SSAE No. 16 is an attestation standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) that examines a service organization’s controls related to compliance or operations. Service Organization Controls (SOC) 2 reports on five Trust Service principles that an organization may opt to be evaluated. For its evaluation, CCMC chose to focus on Security to ensure it was meeting the security needs of its client base. The Type 1 examination reviews the suitability of the design of the controls put in place by the organization.
“The SSAE-16 (SOC 2) Type 1 certification affirms the integrity and security of CCMC’s operations and applications,” said Steven Giannotti, Senior Vice President of CCMC. “Choosing an organization maintaining high standards for people, process, and technology is paramount in today’s world. Our clients and partners may rest assured; CCMC has achieved this important industry standard.”
